Return to player is the share of all money staked that a game is built to pay back over millions of spins. The paytable fixes it.

How a win is counted
A win structure decides whether symbols form a paying combination. It is why similar-looking slots play differently.

Why every spin is independent
A random number generator picks each result when you press spin, from a value unrelated to earlier ones. The reels animate a decision already made.
